Quasi-Stellar organized a three day WiMAX RF Design and Planning Training Workshop at COMSATS, Islamabad from 11th - 13th July, 2008. RF Planners and Managers & Professionals from Alcatel, Asia Consultancy group, Ericsson, FAST-NU, Huawei, InterSES, LCC Pakistan, Mobiserve Pakistan, Mobilink(PMCL), Nayatel, NUCES, Punjab IT Board, Lahore, Telenor Pakistan, WATANSERVE International and Wateen Telecom attended the workshop. Large number of students and fresh graduates from different academic institutes also attended the workshop.
Basics of RF and indepth concepts of RF Planning in WiMAX network were covered in the first two days while on the third day all the attendees were provided an opportunity to perform planning in a planning tool.
Most of the academic and professionals rated this as one of the best training in their academic and professional career. After the training workshop a dinner party was organized for the Marketing Team and Senior Management of Quasi Stellar. Senior management of The Right Connection Pvt Ltd. and Academic senior management of COMSATS was also invited to this dinner party.
